F.A.Q.
- When are you available? I am available on weekdays either late afternoon or night. As well as anytime on weekends.
- I want golden hour photos, when should we book our session? This depends on the time of year. Typically about 1-2 hours before the sunset.
- Can I bring someone to my portrait session? Of course! If you want to bring a plus one to help you feel more comfortable they are more than welcome to join.
- What ages do you photograph? All ages are welcome! I have experience photographing newborns, toddlers, children, and adults. I have my CPR/First Aid certification and can pass a Level 2 background check.
- What happens if we are running late to our session? Please contact your photographer immediately. We understand things happen, but please try your best to arrive at the time of your session to avoid feeling stressed at the beginning of the photo session.
- What if my child does not want to take photos? I never want anyone to feel uncomfortable. We try to make our sessions fun that kids want to participate. It can sometimes help when they can look forward to something after the session, whether that is a sweet treat or getting to go to the playground after.
- What should I bring to my session? I always recommend bringing a water bottle to the session and a light snack, especially if an outdoor location is chosen. Props are a great way to personalize your session. For example, grads should bring their cap and gown, tassel, and diploma; champagne can also make for a fun photo. For maternity, suggested items are ultrasound photos, baby shoes, etc. Ask your photographer for specific recommendations.
- What happens if the weather is bad? It depends, we can either work with the moodiness and take photos in the rain or reschedule for another day. Sometimes sessions can be moved to a different time or location to avoid the weather, other days it might be best to reschedule.
- What types of payment do you accept? Cash, personal checks, Zelle or Venmo.
